International Symposium on human rights and
equality in STEM education
The mentoring program Club Lise initiated the Lise mentoring Network in 2011. The aim was to provide an exchange space to share experience and knowledge about diversity concepts for mentoring relationships in theory and praxis.
The Lise Mentoring Network includes STEM and diversity focused mentoring programs from post-secondary institutions nationwide.
Through conferences, symposiums and network exchange-days participants from different projects can share and discuss strategies and challenges in implementing Diversity in an educational context, diversity-mentoring and promoting STEM for women and marginalized groups.
Club Lise was developed in the framework of PROMISE as a mentoring program which promotes female students with a migrant-background in STEM and, thanks to the support of think ING., still remains active after 13 years.
